The best use for AI yet (if you're a nerd for theory anyway)

I used an LLM to dub a classic Lacan talk

Many of us workers with earbuds don’t have time to sit around and read closed captions. It was at my fire wood cutting job when I first really wanted a dubbed version of this Lacan talk. Then again the desire returned when I was at Amazon.

Now, thanks to the wonders of LLMs and my amazing subscribers who freed me to focus on this kind of thing, I have dubbed the first half. What do you think? I think it’s not too bad.

The AI transcription needed a lot of clean up and I had to work at this for hours to fix a ton of issues but it’s coming along. Thanks to the people making donations to support part two!
